It really depends on the clients and the sector. Typically, most clients opt for purchase + annual servicing on a 3-5 year contract.  However, clients with operating budgets may prefer the rental options available.

Yes, we have an in-house design team who can collaborate with you to create a bespoke offering that fits your brief. This is only available for larger volume orders.

Our first prototype unit was keypad/PIN solution. We quickly discovered that this was not the most secure way to lock away your devices. Our experience shows that PIN codes can be easily predicted, and seen from afar. We believe that a lock and key is the most secure solution, as well as the most hassle-free solution for our clients, and we are extremely proud of our proven security track record across our estate. With 30 million charges to date worldwide, this is something to shout about!

Our products require a 110-240 V 47-63 Hz electric supply. We’ll fit the relevant mains plug for your region.  A fused-spur is preferable to a socket to prevent disconnection. While ethernet or wifi can be considered for the communications with our servers, we typically include 3G routers as part of our package to avoid dependencies on inconsistent networks. If you have an ethernet socket available already that can save some ongoing cost, but we do not suggest you add one just for ChargeBox.

Yes, we have bespoke branding options across our product family. And with our management services you have the ability to push new media remotely to the HD LCD’s on our Lock & Charge systems.

Yes, we offer our secure ‘Lock & Charge’ solutions as a pay-to-use service via contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay, chip & pin, and swipe.

Pay to use charging services are generally used a fraction of free-to-use so if your requirement is customer service driven, we encourage you to provide a free to use solution.

Yes, you have the option of the industry’s fastest charging technology on our ChargeBox 3 Lock & Charge system and ChargeHub Stay & Charge product. With our fast-charge tech iPhone 8 onwards can charge to 50% within 30 minutes while fast-charging iPads and the latest Android phones & tablets.

Alternatively, our USB 2.0 technology can deliver up to 2A/10 Watts, optimised to safely charge devices as the manufacturer designed, and faster than Apple’s in-box 1A/5 Watts charger.

Together with the use of our ultra-robust manufacturers’ cables we guarantee a great experience and a safe charge.

The ChargeBox stations are designed to be housed inside, although they could be temporarily housed under cover in an outdoor environment for event purposes. This is to avoid the potential for moisture to interfere with the connection to the device which could result in damage to the user's phone or to the ChargeBox.

Typically our Lock & Charge sessions last for 30 minutes but customers can choose their preferred time when ordering. We’ll let you know how long people tend to charge for in similar environments to yours.
